Like, for real? Not knowing the 1995 cult-classic Clueless is as bad as lying on the ground in an Alaïa (As if!)

The humanitarian-at-heart, yet super-rich and superficial, Cher Horowitz teams up with best friend Dionne (both named after famous singers from the past who now do infomercials) to rescue people from “social Siberia”.

Other than being the ultimate teen movie of its time, Cher showcased her depth with some epic one-liners: “do you prefer fashion victim or ensembly challenged?” or our personal fave: “you see how picky I am about my shoes, and they only go on my feet.”

And while most girls dreamed of having Cher’s computerized outfit-matching super-closet, one fact remains: the fashion in Clueless is as undeniable as a Fred Segal white collarless shirt being part of a “capable looking outfit”.

But don’t take our word for it. Trust Iggy Azalea (hello, it-girl) who recreated the movie in her “Fancy” video, and street stylers who are majorly bringing back Cher’s iconic plaid.

And, don’t bug; you too can turn the streets into your personal runway by strutting in our Ostwald Helgason x ALDO RISE Bowie backpack (SS14 collection, obviously). Going to a party? Rock a Cher-inspired red body-hugging dress and match with a modernly updated ankle strap pump– just try to not let anyone spill a drink on your shoes. Pretty and preppy is also a coveted Clueless look, especially with an embellished headband and cell phone clutch. Skater chic more your thing? Rock slip-on sneakers and roll with your homies to the next house party.
