“Mrs. Robinson, you’re trying to seduce me.” With those words, Dustin Hoffman rose to Hollywood fame in 1967’s The Graduate, as a 21-year old Benjamin Braddock, a young man questioning the status quo future his parents have embraced for him. Just as seductive as the film’s epic soundtrack by Simon & Garfunkel, the iconic film’s California beiges, West Coast whites and silvery ‘60s tones, combined with Benjamin’s corduroy blazers and narrow suits, create a visual feast that stands the test of time.

Off for a scotch (or two) at the Taft Hotel? Get the look with a dress loafer in grey suede.

A pair of retro shades are A+ for a hard afternoon lounging around the pool, or driving that new red convertible.

Pack your gear for a Berkley getaway in an East Coast-style weekender bag.

What to wear to complete the classic look? A pair of lace-up sneakers in ice – especially if you’re running to stop a wedding. Make sure you’re not too late: keep time with a college-style watch.
