Lady Gaga might be the beloved Monster-in-Chief to her adoring army of Little Monsters, but even she relies on reinforcement from her fiercest dance troops when conceiving her latest plans for world domination.
Mother Monster decked out her brigade of backup dancers in military-inspired ALDO boots before opening the first ever Brooklyn-based MTV Video Music Awards with an explosive performance of her new single, “Applause,” from the upcoming album Artpop.
While Gaga executed fast-paced costume changes, the men busted out their fanciest footwork on the frontlines in ALDO Rider boots, while the ladies stomped in synchronicity while sporting lace-up ALDO Frinino ankle boots. Both boots strike the season’s fire-hot punk trend with their intense black leather clunk and swagger, while remaining everyday wearable – from stage to street.
Invading London’s iTunes Festival on opening night, Gaga’s Artpop posse slayed the choreography once again in their ALDO Riders and Frininos. A full-fledged world tour is clearly on the horizon, but Gaga’s Artpop boot camp is already fashionably set for battle.
