True Love: Lana Del Rey
Whether she’s rocking a Priscilla Presley beehive and jeans, classic movie star windswept hair with a t-shirt, or a boho floral headband and a gown, singer Lana Del Rey’s retro glam meets rock n’ roll style is as fit for a red carpet as it is the tour bus. One part timeless icon and one part rebel without a cause, the “it” girl is Old Hollywood meets Almost Famous, a style icon who might have everything she needs for the week on her back…it just happens to be in a Mulberry bag the fashion house named after her.
Del Rey walked the walk quite literally two weeks ago when she rocked her beloved ALDO Codissago on with four very different looks. After singing at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding in Italy, the songstress arrived at LAX looking Transatlantic chic on May 28, 2014 in blue jeans, a moss cardigan and metallic sandals. The stamp python print effect of the criss-cross straps took on cocktail hour sleekness two days later when the singer paired them with a white Vava by Joy Han boho dress en route to her May 30th LA concert. Although she changed into a pink vintage baby-doll dress to rock the stage at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, she kept her glam yet subtle gold sandals strapped to her feet. Even when kicking it casual on June 2nd in blue jeans, white shirt while arriving at famous West Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont, Del Rey opted for her luxe casual flat sandals. With her new album Ultraviolence about to drop on June 17 and international concert dates set to follow, don’t be surprised if they show up with her on the west coast (Ha! see what we did there?)
